Sur la nature des choses invisible #3 est une conversation avec le corps pensé comme dépôt de matière, images et traces. Une étude d'enracinement où le corps devient un moyen pour convoquer l'invisible.
Sur la nature des choses invisibles #3 is a conversation with the body, seen as a deposit of matter, images, and traces. A study of rooting in which the body becomes a way of inviting the invisible.
"Ce volet #3 s'inscrit dans la récente perte de mon père, inattendue et soudaine. L' expérience de la perte est un fait commun. Une irruption, un dérèglement où l'universel devient intime et infléchit le regard. Elle m'a amené à dialoguer avec la matière de mon propre corps, trace de la présence de mon père et des générations antérieures. Un dialogue avec le secret de chaque présence, avec le mystère et la vulnérabilité du vivant".
"This third part is linked to the recent loss of my father, sudden and unexpected . The experience of loss is a common one. An irruption, a disruption in which the universal becomes intimate and inflects our gaze. It has led me to explore with the matter of my own body, a trace of my father and previous generations. A dialogue with the secret of every presence, with the mystery and vulnerability of the living".
Dans ce volet #3, le travail chorégraphique prend appui sur un atlas d'images autour de l'iconographie du corps du Christ, en faisant dialoguer différentes époques et sources de la culture occidentale. Puissante synthèse du cycle vie-mort, la représentation de ce corps nous confronte à la fois à la matérialité de chaque présence et à la part d'invisible qu'elle porte en elle.
In this third part, the choreographic work is inspired by an atlas of images around the iconography of Christ's body, bringing together different periods and sources of Western culture. A powerful synthesis of the life-death cycle, the representation of this body confronts us with both the materiality of each presence and the invisible dimension it holds.
A travers le geste, le volume et la posture, le corps devient tableau mouvant. Il cherche à générer un espace de dissolution, de dilatation temporelle où l'action se fait profonde et incisive. Il cherche à ouvrir un espace de silence où le public peut se mettre à l’écoute du rythme de la matière.
Trough gesture, volume and posture, the body becomes a moving painting. It creates a space of dissolution, of temporal dilatation where action becomes profound and incisive. It seeks to open up a space of silence inviting the audience to listen to the rhythm of matter.
